Nondiscrimination Policy
Granny’s Girls Birth Initiative
Granny’s Girls Birth Initiative does not, by policy or practice, discriminate on the basis of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, military or veteran status, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
This policy applies to everyone we serve and everyone who works with us. We welcome every family. Eligibility for any specific program is based on published, non-discriminatory criteria. We treat our staff, contractors, volunteers and board members without discrimination, and we follow this policy when we hire and when we select the partners we work with.
If you believe you have been discriminated against or harassed because of a characteristic listed above, you may tell the Executive Director (502-905-2300; ascisney@gbiky.org), or, if your concern involves the Executive Director or you prefer not to go to her, the Board Chair, Brooke Gladden, at ascisney@gbiky.org, or use the Grievance Reporting Form on our website. We will look into every report promptly. We do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
Adopted by the Board of Directors on. Reviewed annually.
